Only 2,500 of the anniversary model will be built

The US motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson is celebrating 30 years of Fat Boy and is also launching a Fat Boy special model limited to 2,500 copies worldwide.

Tea F.at Boy was introduced in 1990 and wanted to transfer the look of the Hydra Glide from 1949 to modern times. In 2020 the Fat Boy concept, which has since become a style icon, will be 30 years old. And for the anniversary there is an anniversary bike that is wrapped in deep, dark Vivid Black paint with bronze-colored accents and powered by a black-coated “Milwaukee-Eight 114” engine. Only 2,500 copies of this limited edition are produced and each machine has a numbered badge on the tank console.

Disc wheels and many black attachments

Satin black lacquered Lakester light metal full disc wheels, an exhaust system coated with black chrome and black lacquered LED headlights, handlebars and foot levers are installed. A 160 tire at the front and a 240 tire at the rear underline the cool factory custom look.

By the way: In 1991 the Fat Boy made the leap to Hollywood. Arnold Schwarzenegger used them in "Terminator 2 – Day of Reckoning" for numerous film scenes.

Harley-davidson

The Harley-Davidson Fat Boy 30th Anniversary has 94 hp and a maximum torque of 155 Nm. The maximum speed is given as 190 km / h. The limited contingent is expected to be available from April 2020. The basic price in Germany is 25,495 euros.
