Beaujolais rally: Schiltz leads the French championship !
In the absence of Christophe Velardi on this fourth round of the 2017 championship, the way is clear for CTM 83 driver Bruno Schiltz, who leads his KTM 1290 Superduke to victory in the rally and takes the lead of the provisional championship. ! Story.
Beaujolais Rally page 4: short, but good !
This short night stage ends fairly quickly. We remain on a taste of too little after this short second stage, but this 48th edition was a great test. The absence of the leader and the excellent race of Bruno Schiltz allowed him to take the lead in the provisional classification of the championship.
But nothing is yet decided: there are still four events and with the four jokers (four worst stage results, day or night, the equivalent of two rallies, not counted for the final classification and the attribution of titles at the end of the championship), things can still change !
Bruno Schiltz wins this 48th vintage of the Beaujolais rally, followed by Laurent Filleton second and Julien Toniutti third.
Bruno therefore becomes the provisional leader of the French Elite SW Motech championship ahead of Laurent Filleton and Christophe Velardi. In terms of categories, little change except in Rally 2 where Maxime Mettra loses his leadership position in favor of Tanguy Brebion.
This 2017 season will be long and the road rally is going well! We can’t wait for the next event, the 22nd edition of the Rallye des Ardennes, which will take place in Sedan (08) on May 27 and 28, 2017. To follow naturally on MNC: stay tuned !
