MNC analysis: Valentino Rossi’s attack on Cal Crutchlow in the last series of the Brno circuit is a reflection of his enviable pugnacity: the Italian never gives up, including for a fourth place. Unfortunately, the Doctor’s predictions turned out to be correct: a very good start, the transalpine driver even briefly led the Czech Republic GP … before gradually giving way. In lack of grip at the rear, the Italian could not do anything to resist Ducati and Honda which accelerate much better.
However, this situation is starting to seriously exasperate him, especially since these problems have lasted for a season and a half. And at 39, Rossi knows that time is running out because despite all his efforts, the Italian will not be able to delay his inevitable decline for very long….

An initiative already followed by Honda with Bradl, Suzuki with Guintoli and Ducati with Pirro.
Long requested by Rossi and Viñales, this "test team" is according to them essential to improve the feedback from Yamaha testers in Japan. "The Japanese and European circuits are very different," says Rossi, who also calls on Yamaha to hire fast testers…
