The history of this family begins with the 1999 model year: the first Aprilia RSV Mille had a 60-degree V2 Rotax engine and delighted the world of sports drivers with, among other things, its unshakable chassis and outstanding workmanship. The Tuono followed a little later in 2004 as a discreetly disguised naked bike with a lot of power and a chassis that could satisfy the most athletic ambitions.

When Aprilia upgraded its super sports car to a V4 engine in 2009 and thus won three drivers ‘and four manufacturers’ titles in the Superbike World Championship since 2010, its naked offshoot was not long in coming.
