In profile, the front is strongly reminiscent of the old Tree 900, built from 2002 to 2014.

In terms of the engine, the 300-cc will probably be brought to Euro 5. It is not known how many of the 38 HP that have been trotting so far will be left.

New Benelli Tornado and TNT
Euro 5 update from 302 R and BN 600

Benelli has published current pictures of a new tornado and TNT. The Tornado is likely to be the Euro 5 update of the 302 R, the TNT that of the BN 600.

Twice Benelli, twice big names. In China has Benelli the two new models TNT and Tornado are presented. The Tornado is a 300cc athlete, the TNT a 600 cubic naked. The technical basis are the known Benelli 302 R and BN 600.

Benelli Tornado 302

At first glance, the new, slimmer cladding with the small projection spotlight with LED support is noticeable. Flanked by two beads and made up by two narrow daytime running lights, the front is very reminiscent of the old Tre 900 (2002-2014). The Tornado apparently shares the tank with the 302 R, while the rear section looks like a new part. The chassis and frame have a tubular swing arm in the rear, connected to the tubular steel frame via a spring strut adjustable in rebound. A USD fork with two disc brakes in axially bolted brake calipers continues to work at the front. At Euro 5, the well-known in-line twin with 300 cubic meters should be lifted, but it is not yet known whether the water-cooled four-valve engine will continue to run with 38 hp.

Benelli TNT 600

Benelli also initially presented a new TNT in its home country of China: 600 cubic meters from four cylinders and around 80 hp. With a view of the frame, chassis, rear and engine, a strongly refreshed BN 600 squints back, which is allowed to keep its characteristic gullwing swing arm with the eccentric shock absorber and the under-seat exhaust system. The front, in particular, is markedly sharper with the LED headlights, as is the radiator trim. The mighty USD fork with the radial Brembo saddles remains in front. With the new design, a new display seems to be arriving.

Price and availability are not yet known for both models.

Conclusion

Euro 5 for the two Italo-Chinese from Benelli, new design and, above all, new, big names. So Benelli could have one or two respectable successes – if they come to Europe with Tornado 302 and TNT 600.
