Only slightly modified for the 2021 model year

The Italian motorcycle manufacturer Benelli is sending its bestseller into the new model year only slightly facelifted. The most important adjustment is the conversion of the two-cylinder to Euro 5.

D.r with the 500 cc in-line twin cylinder achieving Euro 5, the Italians gave it a secondary air system, a new catalytic converter and a newly tuned engine management system. The changes apply to both TRK 502 models – the street-oriented variant and the enduro version marked with an additional X..

Performance remains unchanged

The two-cylinder adopts the performance data unchanged from the Euro 4 design. It remains at 48 hp at 8,500 tours and a maximum torque of 46 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The primary gear ratio has been shortened so that the twin gets out of the water more lively. The engine is now generally black. The tachometer in the cockpit is now highlighted in white.

The adjustable handlebars and the backlit fittings are also new. TRK logos adorn various switches and the mirrors. The decor on the cladding is also adapted. A newly shaped luggage rack should offer the passenger more space.

The yellow special model will come sometime in 2021.

The refreshed Benelli TRX 502 versions will roll out to dealers from the beginning of 2021. According to reports, nothing will change in the prices. The TRK 502 X will still be offered as a yellow special version in the course of 2021.
