Tried waterproof enduro boots

The Berik All Terrain Adventure accompanied us on a 5,000 kilometer tour in Sardinia. The enduro boot made a decent impression in the test.

The boots in the picture look a bit worn out, but they are allowed to do so because they have already covered 5,000 kilometers and have not been spared: on-road around Lake Garda, off-road on sardines. And not infrequently, the brave porter spent twelve hours or more in the roughly profiled kicks. A big plus point: the guaranteed watertightness, which really never deteriorated, even if you had to stop in hairy water passages and were looking for a firm hold in the rushing torrent.

Extremely comfortable footbed

The toothing on the notches is good, so that a secure hold is always guaranteed. Getting in and out is easy, the Berik is quickly and conveniently closed with two buckles. The mobility is very balanced for an enduro boot, without the feet and joints being offered too little stabilizing support. The same applies to the comfortable and extremely comfort-oriented footbed.

The shin protectors are also sufficiently large for enduro and motorcycle hiking purposes – of course, the Berik does not claim to be a cross boot designed purely for off-road or heavy off-road use. Only the breathability of the Noname climate membrane has to be compromised. To put it drastically: on long and warm days of driving, it can smell a lot. Anyone who can breathe this away as a bargain hunter will get their money’s worth in terms of price / performance. The manufacturer’s recommended retail price is 289.90 euros. The Berik boot is currently on offer at FC Moto and costs a whopping 41 percent less.

Noticed positively: Waterproof, comfortable footbed

Noticed negatively: Weak climate membrane in summer

Sizes: 40 to 48

Price: 169.99 euros (current offer at FC Moto)

MOTORRAD verdict: 4.5 stars out of a possible 5

Conclusion

The Berik All Terrain Adventure made a great impression in the 5,000 kilometer test in Sardinia. Only the weak climate membrane in summer caused point deductions.
