Video and sound quality: neutral color rendition, tends to overexpose and depths soup a bit away, low image noise, good contrasts, relatively fast aperture when changing light Driving noises reproduced quite naturally, somewhat annoying wind noises.
Attachment: Only the additional, flawless (but expensive) accessory mounts ensure good compatibility for the motorcycle.
Usability: only a few controls. Clear, foolproof!
Processing / equipment: Very solidly made, perfectly fitting weatherproof housing, good selection of accessories.
Conclusion: Even with the expensive extra accessories (as tested), the Midland XTC-280 remains at a fair price level. The picture quality is excellent, the sound is fine. Mainly because of the very simple operation – even with gloves – a great motorcycle action cam.
