Electric scooter from Israel
The Israeli startup Blitz Motors is now bringing its electric scooters to Europe. The two models Blitz 6000 and Blitz 3000X are to be offered.
A.The two Blitz models are driven by wheel hub motors in the rear wheel. The engine output is based on the model name and is 3 KW and 6 kW respectively. A combination brake system and a disc brake on each wheel are used for deceleration.
Up to 120 km range
With a length of two meters, the Blitz 3000X is a typical city scooter that competes with 125 cc. With a dead weight of 90 kilograms, it offers 150 kilograms payload. The electric motor drives the Blitz 3000X to a maximum of 90 km / h and allows a range of up to 120 kilometers. A 45 km / h version is also available – this then offers a range of up to 200 kilometers.

The Blitz 6000, which aims at a 250cc scooter, is just under 2.20 meters long, a whole size larger and designed for two people. The large scooter weighs 180 kilograms and also has a payload of 150 kilograms. The 6000 should be a maximum of 120 km / h, but only has a range of 100 kilometers. In both models, the battery packs can be increased modularly. The storage compartments hold a maximum of two modules. Each module has a capacity of 1.5 kWh. All on-board functions can also be monitored via the app. The Blitz scooters are made in China, but they were developed in Israel. Prices have not yet been announced.
From 2020 to Europe
The start-up Blitz Motors, founded in 2012, initially marketed the electric scooters nationally with various pizza delivery services, the police and the Israeli Post. A total of 1,600 scooters are said to be already on the road in Israel. Now company founder Raphael Moszynski wants to expand abroad. In Europe, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands will initially be served from the beginning of 2020. Distribution in South Africa, South America and India is also planned. India, however, requires local production. A ridesharing program is also being considered.
