In some traffic or weather situations it can get too warm under the helmet. The Indian supplier BluArmor now offers a possible remedy for the heat build-up under the hat with the BluSnap system. This is a mobile air conditioning system that is simply stretched with a rubber band in front of the chin part of the helmet. Two snorkels then protrude into the helmet under the chin area.

Battery operated, the mini air conditioning system should be able to reduce the temperatures under the helmet by 6 to 15 degrees below the ambient temperature. The assembly should be possible in just under 30 seconds. There is also the Darth Vadder look free of charge.

Simplest air conditioning technology

The technology behind the climate function is simple. The chin component contains a two-liter water tank, a fan and a microfilter as well as the rechargeable batteries, which should allow around 10 hours of running time. However, the water supply is only enough for just under two hours. Air enriched with water is blown into the helmet to cool you down.

The complete climate module is strapped in front of the chin.

We do not want to judge here how this increases the tendency of the visor to fog up. We can only guess what the additional weight of around 2.5 kilograms feels like in the chin area. The BluSnap helmet air conditioning system is available for prices starting at around 20 euros. You can currently choose between five different color variants for the rubber band.
