Bavaria bring new leather one-pieces
BMW is expanding its range of motorcycle clothing to include the ProRace one-piece racing suit. The ProRace station wagon is manufactured by the Italian station wagon specialist Gimoto for Bavaria.

The one-piece made of cowhide nappa leather should be a real racing suit and offer the appropriate safety equipment. The protectors on the shoulders, hips, elbows and knees are firmly sewn. Interchangeable sliders with highly abrasion-resistant Velcro fasteners sit on the knees.
There are three alternatives to choose from for back protection. This highly sensitive area can be protected with the NP Pro back protector via the protector pocket on the back of the ProRace suit. Alternatively, the strap-on protectors, the back protector and the back protector vest are also available here.
A number of stretch inserts on the ProRace suit are supposed to guarantee wearing comfort. The perforated leather surfaces on the arms, chest area and thighs as well as a 3D spacer fabric in the back area ensure excellent ventilation and allow air to circulate in the suit. For additional comfort, the ProRace suit is equipped with an aerodynamic back hump.

The suit is available in a lighter and even more resistant kangaroo leather for an additional charge. The personalization also includes the option to be decorated with individual logos or lettering of teams / sponsors or nicknames. A variety of BMW motorcycle Lettering and type designations such as RR, S 1000 XR, BMW M logo etc. round off the pure race look of the ProRace suit.
In order to do justice to an individual understanding of comfort, various perforation options are available for ventilation. The additional protection (ribs and thighs, outside) can be selected as an option – these protectors are available in two different versions via the configurator, as standard foam or Vibram VPOD thermal foam. A chest protector can also be integrated into the ProRace Made-to-Measure suit. Upon request, the aerodynamic back hump can be equipped with a DrinkPak.
The ProRace station wagon can now be ordered from BMW dealers or on-line. The combination is available in sizes 46 to 60 in the colors black, white and red – and of course individually made to measure and in the desired color combination. The prices for the standard versions start at 1,400 euros, made-to-measure combinations are available from 1,490 euros. The combination can be supplemented with ProRace boots and ProRace gloves.
