Special model for the 100th birthday
The British motorcycle manufacturer Brough Superior is celebrating its 100th birthday in 2019. On this occasion, the British launched the Brough Superior SS100 MK2, which was presented at the EICMA.

the Brough Superior SS100 MK2 continues to rely on the well-known V2 with 997 cm³ displacement, which brings it to 100 hp and 89 Nm torque. In the non-homologated track version it is 132 hp and 120 Nm. For the special model, some housing parts are milled from solid. It is shifted by a six-speed gearbox.
Titanium frame and quadruple disc brake
The V2 is built into a frame made of titanium, and the rear frame is also made of this material. The front wheel has a fork based on the Fior principle with cast aluminum spars and titanium rocker arms. The fully adjustable shock absorber has a suspension travel of 120 mm.
The cast aluminum rear swing arm is mounted in the engine housing. The rear central spring strut, which is also fully adjustable, has a suspension travel of 130 mm. The forged and milled multi-spoke aluminum wheels in 18-inch format, which were specially designed for this model, have 120/70 tires at the front and 160/60 at the rear. The seat height is specified with 820 mm, the dry weight with 196 kilograms.

Four mufflers for the anniversary model.
Beringer produces radial brake calipers especially for the anniversary model, which operate the quadruple disc brake system on the front wheel with 230 discs. Only a 230 disc is used at the rear. ABS is standard equipment. Brough also designed the exhaust system with four new mufflers exclusively for the MK2.
Exactly 100 copies of the Brough Superior SS100 MK2 Anniversary are to be built. The basic price is 100,000 euros.
