Country road / motorway: (119 points, 3rd place) A look at the profile makes it clear – the TKC 70 is not a real road tire. And yet the semi-off-roader is pleasing to the brisk bends on the country road thanks to its handiness and ample adhesive reserves. Due to the concept, however, you have to accept slight flexing movements in inclined positions. However, these quickly bring the Continental TKC 70 up to temperature, and the Hanoverian also likes its wide limit range in terms of feedback.

Wet test: (92 points, 2nd place) “Only” second place, but the Continental TKC 70 achieved that with an excellent score. The coarse stoller quickly gets up to temperature in the wet and then shines with good feedback for its retention reserves. On the watered test course and in the braking lane, he remains close on the heels of the more street-oriented competitors of Dunlop and Michelin.

Terrain: (33 points, 3rd place) The slightly increased negative portion of the Continental TKC 70 can interlock well on loose ground, which is why it can easily follow the significantly coarser test candidates TKC 80 and Karoo 3 in the cloud of dust.

Conclusion: In terms of stability, the Continental TKC 70 has to place itself clearly behind Trailsmart and Road 4 Trail. But if you want a great mix of road and off-road performance, you can choose this Conti.
