Probably no motorcyclist will attach this new vintage license plate to his oldtimer because of the few euros saved. But it would be feasible from October.

The combination of H license plates and seasonal license plates will be possible from October 1, 2017. And rather attractive for car owners who want to protect their well-groomed classic cars from moisture, salt and cold in winter instead of moving them on the road. The annual vehicle tax for a car with an H license plate is 191.73 euros – a flat rate, regardless of engine size and consumption.
A vintage motorcycle currently costs only EUR 46.02 per year in vehicle tax, which means that the relationship between license plate appearance, effort and savings is questionable. In theory, however, it will also be possible for vintage motorcycles from October 1, 2017.
