“Women make up 20 percent of the Twins buyers,” said a Royal Enfield spokesman. So it is a good thing that the Indian manufacturer is sponsoring four Interceptor 650s for the custom bike competition of the motorcycle festival for women, the Petrolettes 2019. “Wrench-Off” is the name of the project for which four European teams are competing. The Petrolettes Wrench Off is a freestyle customizing competition in which female screwdriving skills are in the foreground in order to further raise awareness of women in the motorcycle scene. The English word “wrench” means something like “wrench” in German and “wrench off” can be translated as “tear off”.
