New entry-level model presented

With the new Ducati Scrambler 1100 Dark Pro, Ducati presents the entry-level model of the 1100 series. It is now available from dealers.

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Dark Pro has the same design as the other two models in the 1100 Pro series. The hallmarks of the 1100 Pro are its raised exhaust and a new seat panel, a shorter rear fender, a 15-liter sheet steel tank and the license plate holder on a swing arm. It differs, however, by the matt black paintwork – Ducati calls this Dark Stealth – with the naturally anodized aluminum parts and the classically designed rearview mirror.

The dark version also corresponds technically to the sister models. The 1.100 V2 Euro 5 standard, homologated according to Euro 5, has an output of 86 hp and provides 88 Nm of torque. Ducati has re-tuned the traction control (DTC) for the Pro models, and cornering ABS and three driving modes (Active, Journey and City) are on board as standard.

The model has been available in the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro and Ducati Scrambler Sport Pro versions since the end of March 2020. The new dark version should roll out to dealers in October. The normal Pro costs from 13,250 euros, for the dark version Ducati names 12,400 euros as the basic price.
