Naked Bike – one size smaller

Ducati is obviously planning to downgrade its Streetfighter range. The Streetfighter V4 is expected to be followed by a naked bike with the engine from the Panigale V2.

W.he Ducati boss Claudio Domenicali confirmed in an interview with the British specialist magazine MCN that a smaller model would be added to the portfolio below the Streetfighter V4. One with less displacement and less power.

In the Streetfighter V4, a four-cylinder, derived from the Panigale V4, works with a displacement of 1,103 cm³, which brings a whopping 208 hp and 123 Nm to the start. The Streetfighter V4 thus clearly marks its position as the top model. The prices from around 20,000 euros also manifest this claim.

155 PS in naked bike

Naked bikes among them are already available in the Ducati range. In addition to the numerous Scrambler versions, there are the Monster models 797, 821 and 1200 as well as the Hypermotard 950. However, none of them is as sporty as the Streetfighter. The Streetfighter V2 could close the gap here,

Their concept is likely to use the Streetfighter V4. Take the superbike, reduce the amount of fairing and install high handlebars. When it comes to chassis components, you stay classy. The Streetfighter V2 with 155 hp and 104 Nm from the 955 cm³ two-cylinder with a weight of around 200 kilograms would fit well into the range. Premiere: Possibly at EICMA 2020.
