Building on the new, deep cooperation with Yamaha, Fantic is expanding its range of models to include four-stroke models with a displacement of 250 and 450 cc.

in the In October 2020, Yamaha Motor Europe and Fantic announced that they want to deepen their strategic partnership. At the end of 2020, the XEF 250 4S presented the first Fantic four-stroke enduro with a Yamaha engine.

The model year 2022 arises Fantic now even wider and more models with Yamaha engines. The Italians’ portfolio is divided into crossers and enduros in the off-road sector. The Crossers include the Fantic XX 125 2T, Fantic XX 250 2T, Fantic XXF 250 4T and Fantic XXF 450 4T. The Enduro range includes the Fantic XE 125 2T, the Fantic XEF 250 4T and the Fantic XEF 450 4T.

The Crosser range now includes four models.

The XX 125 2T enters the new model year almost unchanged, as a completely newly developed successor will be unveiled for it in autumn. The XX 250 received a completely new two-stroke engine that can be operated in two different mappings. The chassis made of aluminum frame and swing arm relies on a 48 mm KYB fork with 300 mm travel and a central spring strut with 315 mm travel. The exhaust comes from Arrow, the alloy wheels from DID. Overall, the two-stroke model borrows a lot from Nicholas Lapucci’s competition model.

Four-stroke with a Yamaha single

The four-stroke engines with 250 and 450 cm³ displacement are completely new. The engines come from the Yamaha shelf, but have been equipped by Fantic with new Arrow exhaust systems and modified engine controls. Various mappings and adjustments can be called up via a switch on the handlebar. Settings can also be made using an app that is networked with the motorcycle. The four-stroke engine also features launch and traction control. The chassis is based on an aluminum perimeter frame, a 48 mm KYB fork and a KYB central spring strut. The Crosser offers 310 and 317 mm of travel, the Enduros 300 and 315 mm.

Prices for the 125cc start from 8,290 euros, the 250cc Crosser costs 8,990 euros, the 250cc four-stroke models start from 9,590 euros and the 450cc four-stroke models from 9,990 euros.
