Like the sister models, it also wears Fantic Caballero 125 the newly developed Minarelli single-cylinder four-stroke engine with variable valve timing, injection and slip clutch. The cooling package and the exhaust system have also been modified. All in all, the new drive package meets the requirements of Euro 5.

There was also an update for the handlebar fittings, which now rearrange the switches on both sides. The newly shaped bench is intended to improve ergonomics and seating comfort. The newly shaped rear fender offers more protection when driving in the rain. The side number plates on the Scrambler and Flat Track models have been redrawn.

The Fantic Caballero 125cc offering includes three versions: Scrambler, Flat Track and Deluxe. The prices for the Fantic Caballero 125 start from 5,290 euros including ancillary delivery costs.

500 Caballero in five versions

In the Fantic Caballero 500 lifts a new engine control, a modified cooling system and a new exhaust system the 450 cm³ single cylinder over the Euro 5 hurdle. An adapted translation makes the single livelier. No changes were made to the chassis.

As on the 125cc, new handlebar fittings with rearranged switches ensure greater ease of use. The 500 series also carries the new rear fender with more protection as well as the new side covers for scrambler and flat track.

The Fantic Caballero 500 is even offered in five versions: Scrambler, Flat Track, Rally, Deluxe and Anniversary. The off-road oriented Rally 500 version comes with an adjustable 43 fork and aluminum swing arm. It is available in the colors Matte Sand and Army Green. The 500 Anniversary Edition version comes in red or light blue.

The 125 Caballeros start at € 5,290 including delivery costs. The 500 is available from 6,790 euros.

Conclusion

Fantic has subtly revised its traditional series. The Caballero models are still beautiful, but not exactly cheap either.
