Based on the technology kit from parent company KTM, GasGas is expanding its model range for the 2022 model year to a total of 18 machines from the enduro, cross and cross-country sectors. Two- and four-stroke engines are used here.

New junior crosser

In order to bind the youngsters to the Spanish brand, the children’s crosser MC 85 is new to the model range. Ok, the MC 85 already exists, but the new MC 85 comes with smaller wheels for smaller riders. While the two-stroke engine was previously only available with a 19-inch front wheel and 16-inch rear wheel, the new one is available on 17 and 14-inch wheels with adapted chassis settings. The rest of the hardware is taken over unchanged.

Two-stroke for experts

Another new addition to the range is the GasGas MC 250 – a genuine 250cc two-stroke crosser that should be able to handle even the toughest gaits. The third new addition is the GasGas MC 350 F. The new four-stroke crosser slips into the gap between the MC 250 F and the MC 450 F. Technically, it is closely related to both, but with a little less power, it should not be so extremely demanding on the driver like the top 450 model.

US customers can also look forward to the new GasGas EX 250. The two-stroke, designed as a cross-country model, joins the EX 300. The EX series also offers three four-stroke models.

The new GasGas models will be available to dealers from October 2021. Prices have not yet been announced.

Conclusion

GasGas is adding a new children’s crosser as well as a new two-stroke and a new four-stroke crosser to the model range for the 2022 model year. As always, the technology comes from the kit of the parent company KTM.
