Hornig conversion of the BMW F900R

On long tours with the BMW F900R, the wind pressure can be strenuous in the long run. To ensure a relaxed ride, we have installed a touring screen that ensures that the wind pressure is directed over the driver. Of course, storage space should not be missing on a long journey. Our tank bag 9-14 L, which can be expanded to provide more space for luggage, is practical for this. In addition, it even has an integrated card compartment! Our grip puppies ensure less vibrations, which of course results in more comfort. The same applies to our stainless steel handlebar weights, which also look good. The seat is essential for driving comfort. As soon as it presses or hurts somewhere, the desire to drive can quickly vanish and the driving pleasure suffers. We have therefore re-upholstered the seat of our F900R, improving it both visually and ergonomically. Equally important is the mounted handlebar riser, which relieves the shoulders and wrists. This enables upright and relaxed sitting.

Thanks to the attached fender extension, problems such as dirty manifolds, a dirty engine housing, stone chip damage and unnecessary water turbulence are forgotten. If the F900R has to be parked, it is essential that it be on a secure footing. This is not a problem thanks to the attached side stand enlargement, which offers a stable stand on bumps such as sand and gravel. For an additional plus in safety, we have equipped our F900R with our crash bars, fork crash pads and our swing arm crash pads. Your own safety has the highest priority, which is why we have added our mirror extensions in order to always have the best overview of what is happening in the traffic behind.

A bit of individuality is a must for our renovation. The Tector brake and clutch levers in blue, matching the paintwork of our F900R, not only look great, but are also adjustable in the lever length and the distance to the handlebar. Our silver rim stickers and our frame cover caps provide an additional visual upgrade. The built-in gear lever enlargement brings a sporty look and functionality through more grip when shifting. A minimalist one “clean” Our BMW F900R is accentuated by the anodized steering head cap and the anodized oil cap. The installed Remus NXT silencer in black ensures an optimal finish. This ensures a more aggressive appearance and increases the performance of your F900R.

Thanks to our renovation, these two aspects in particular now have the opportunity to further develop their potential.

Arriving at your destination relaxed requires a gentle and relaxed seating position. This requires the handlebar riser, which not only raises the handlebar by 30 mm, but also moves it 25 mm closer to the driver. This handlebar relocation is also extremely helpful for sporty driving while standing. The mirror extensions make a decisive contribution to safety, as they improve the visual circle. Thanks to the adjustable spoiler, our built-in smoke-gray touring windshield promises a ride without annoying turbulence. The perfect addition, both visually and functionally, are the built-in wind deflectors. Of course, a navigation device is a must, especially on longer tours. With the help of our GPS mount, you can now read the route even better and more comfortably, because you don’t have to look away from the road for too long due to the positioning above the dashboard. So that the readability of the connectivity display is not impaired by scratches or damage, we have provided it with a screen protector.
