In the USA, 812 models of the Husqvarna 701 Vitpilen from the construction period 2018 to 2020 and 688 copies of the 701 Svartpilen from the construction period 2019 to 2020 are being recalled.

Fuel can leak from the possibly damaged sensor seal on the fuel pump and under certain circumstances ignite. The problem is announced by the smell of gasoline under the tank. Drivers of affected machines should visit their dealer. The seal is checked there and repaired if necessary. The recall in the USA is scheduled to start in mid-May.

The inquiry as to whether vehicles in Germany / Europe are also affected by this recall is ongoing.
