Basically, this article could end here, because Husqvarna has not left out more about the new Vektorr electric scooter. What prompts us to read the press release very carefully: Husqvarna designed the Vektorr for use as an inner-city – new German urban – commuter vehicle. Visually clearly a Husqvarna from the gifted hands of the Kiska designers, the Vektorr combines borrowings from Vitpilen and E-Pilen.

Technique from Bajaj?

Visually and technically interesting is the front suspension with the generous cover of the swing arm system with the one-sided wheel guide. Similarly, the rear wheel suspension with the engine in the swing arm, the shape and dimensions of a drive train swing arm is not dissimilar. A comparable design can be found in the Bajaj Chetak scooter, which also has a range of 95 kilometers. Husqvarna has a partnership with Bajaj. The technology transfer is therefore logical and was already announced. The Vektorr reaches its top speed of 45 km / h thanks to an electric motor with an output of four kilowatts.

Regardless of whether Bajaj or not: The Vektorr underscores the Pierer Group’s approach to electric mobility purely for use in the city to see what’s last was clarified again by the E-Pilen study. The other plans of E-Huskys then cover a larger scooter, such as the E-Pilen in the 11 kW class. It is still open whether the E-Pilen announced for 2022 will come.

If so, then only a powerful electric motorcycle.

I can imagine an electric scooter for commuting and city traffic.

A small, agile electric moped is definitely fun.

None at all.

Conclusion

Electric only in the city – logical for several reasons from the mouth of a European manufacturer. The total number of pieces and the driving behavior in our regions make it “real” Electric motorcycles heavy. Yet.
