Last season, Janusch Prokop gave a fifty-fifty performance. First in the 600s, he later switched to the superbikes. The 20-year-old keeps this job.

Janusch Prokop was one of the potential podium candidates in the IDM Supersport 600 in 2017. He also took two fourth places before he had to be out of sails due to an injury. When he returned, he changed class and motorcycle. Instead of a Kawasaki in the 600s, from now on he moved a Suzuki in the Alber-Bischoff team. With the GSX-R 1000 Prokop did not tear up trees, but the lap times convinced team boss Evren Bischoff, who believes that Prokop still needs a year of development. “But then he could be one of the podium contenders. Provided everything goes as planned and he doesn’t get injured.”
