Introducing Indian Chieftain Limited
Upgrade with 19-inch front wheel and 100 watt sound.
The Indian Chieftain Limited appears as a model variant of the Indian Chieftain excavator model. Their appearance is more noble and at the same time more aggressive; their equipment of higher quality.
Like the Indian C.hieftain also builds the Indian Chieftain Limited on the V2 engine called Thunder Stroke 111. From a displacement of 1811 cm³ it generates a lush 135 Nm of torque already at 2,100 rpm.
The front wheel makes a clearly visible difference; it is 19 inches tall and only encompassed by a subtle fender. The headlight cover and the leather saddle want to take up its slim look; The Indian Chieftain Limited is not as baroque as the basic Indian Chieftain model.
The standard equipment naturally includes an anti-lock braking system, an electronic inflation pressure control for the tires and a cruise control system ("Cruise control"). There is also a 100 watt audio system on board; it can optionally be upgraded to a 200 watt surround system. Both systems allow the transfer of music via Bluetooth and USB; The 18 cm touchscreen in the front panel takes over the control. It should – as the manufacturer promises – be easy to operate even with gloves.
Further equipment features are the activation of the ignition via a remote control key, a fairing screen suitable for touring as well as a hard case that closes at the push of a button.
The Indian Chieftain Limited is available in Germany for 28,650 euros. If the black, the only color on offer, is too gloomy for you, you can upgrade your Indian Chief Limited with chrome elements as an option – at an additional cost, of course. Also available for an extra charge are medium-high risers that place the handlebars a little higher and closer to the rider, and some parts such as the protection bars are available in black.
Another variant called Indian Chieftain Elite is limited to 350 pieces worldwide. It is painted in Fireglow Red Candy, has visual accents such as hand-painted pinstripes, light metal running boards, LED lights and an electrically adjustable and tinted windshield. It has a 200 watt audio system as standard.
