Flat-track look for retrofitting

The Indian FTR 1200 is already in the starting blocks, but the British customizer Krazy Horse is offering a conversion to a flat-track look for Indian Scout models.

Krazy Horse from Suffolk was in charge of a flat track racing team for Indian in Great Britain. The experience gained has now flowed into a conversion kit for everyone. The Street Hooligan Kit transforms Indian Scout and I.ndian Scout Sixty models optically in a flat tracker.

Conversion price from 5,600 euros

The transformation is achieved through various self-developed add-on parts. With special adapters, the footrests are moved further back for a more upright sitting position. A new rear frame, together with a new bench plus rear bumper, completes the ergonomic change. The front fork loses its fender, but gains a stabilizer between the bars.

The V2 engines get a new exhaust and a modified engine control.

The series wheels have to give way to 19-inch wire-spoke wheels with Talon hubs. Tires with a distinctive lug profile are mounted on it. The British are tackling the V2 with a new two-in-one exhaust system and a modified engine management system. The conversion is rounded off by a new front mask with two small round headlights. The British call the kit price around 5,600 euros. It is also recommended to have the conversion done by an Indian dealer.

Optionally, Krazy Horse offers an upgrade for the spring elements. Fully adjustable suspension struts from Ohlins are used at the rear, and the fork is also optimized with Swedish components.
