With the Lazareth LM 410, a visually very extreme and limited to ten copies new motorcycle from France is in the starting blocks.

Do you still remember that Lazareth LM 847, which we presented at the beginning of 2016? The bike that was shown at the Geneva Motor Show at the time was a show bike built by Ludovic Lazareth with an extremely brutal look. And as if the look wasn’t spectacular enough, the French customizer decided to install a huge Maserati V8 engine with 470 hp. The fact that such a motorcycle, which has four and not two wheels, should not be approved for public roads, is probably not really surprising to this day. The situation should look different with the Lazareth motorcycle named LM 410 presented here. According to Ludovic Lazareth, the LM 410, which is optically based on the even more aggressive LM 847, will actually get a road approval in France.

Inline four-cylinder engine from the Yamaha YZF-R1

Similar to the LM 847, the LM 410 could also come from one of the last Batman films, apart from the red paintwork, in terms of optics. Ludovic Lazareth equips the LM 410 with the inline four-cylinder engine of the Yamaha YZF-R1. Otherwise, the Frenchman is largely reluctant to make detailed statements about the technical data. It is fairly certain that the LM 410 should have turned out to be significantly lighter than the “Maserati” Lazareth, which weighs just under 400 kilograms.

For the engine, Lazareth used the YZF-R1 from Yamaha.

When looking at the arrangement of the wheels, some attentive observer might wonder what the handling characteristics of the Lazareth bikes are like. A swivel function, which is not described in detail, allows both twin wheels to maintain full contact with the ground even when they are inclined, which is why the manufacturer promises “maximum cornering stability”. Only ten copies of the Lazareth LM 410 are to be put on the wheels. The manufacturer has also commented on the price: Potential buyers have to invest 100,000 euros.

Flying motorcycle from Lazareth

Anyone who now believes that the two motorcycles LM 847 and LM 410 are the most spectacular developments from Lazareth probably does not yet know the project called LMV 496. This is a motorcycle that can be transformed into an aircraft if necessary. Of course, this is only a prototype, but the LMV 496 shows that Lazareth is not necessarily stingy with innovative ideas.

Conclusion

You don’t see a motorcycle like the Lazareth LM 410 every day – neither on the Internet nor on public roads. Should Lazareth keep his promise, with a little luck one or the other copy could at least be seen on the streets of our French neighbors.
