On their off-road comeback, the British are betting on a Triumph Scrambler 1200XE as a racing bike and the professional stunt driver Ernie Vigil. He had already completed the Mexican 1,000 with a triumph Tiger 800.

The Triumph Scrambler 1200XE with which Vigil will tackle the 1,000 mile race in Mexico is largely standard. All that was needed for racing was a different bench seat, different lamps and handles, as well as special sand tires. There is also a special paint finish in blue and white.

After being used in the Mexican 1,000, the duo Vigil / Scrambler will also compete in the legendary Baja 1,000.
