Additional support: This orthosis is intended to stabilize Schrotter’s wrist.

Off-road trips obviously don’t seem to be good for GP pilots. Some time before Valentino Rossi broke his leg on an enduro ride near his hometown Tavullia, Moto 2 rider Marcel Schrotter hit it in mid-July. The 24-year-old fell while on an off-road tour with MotoGP rider Jack Miller in Australia. Diagnosis: scaphoid fracture in the left hand.

After the operation, Marcel Schrotter had to cancel four Grand Prix races. Next weekend, the World Cup 15. dare to make a comeback. An orthosis from the sports protection specialists Ortema from Markgroningen near Stuttgart is intended to sufficiently stabilize the wrist for use.
