The first test drives for the new MotoGP season should have started in November 2020, but were canceled. The test session in Sepang in February 2021 was also canceled. According to the current timetable, the MotoGP riders will not be allowed to get into the saddle of their racing machines again until March 6 in Qatar.

In order to stay fit until then, many pilots use cross machines or superbikes. Suzuki driver Alex Rins does his circuit training on a Suzuki GSX-R 1000, of course. It was previously in the colors of his racing machine – blue / silver. Now the Spaniard presented the new look of his training motorcycle on his social media channels.

The third place’s GSX-R 1000 RR now has black paint, red elements and his starting number 42. The new design was created by LMR Graphics. He introduced the new design with words: “This is my new Susie. Since we’ll be spending many hours together, she deserves a new look.” Rins sponsors are immortalized on the bow of the fairing. This includes the energy drink brand Monster, which is joining the team as a sponsor for the 2021 season and will probably also influence the design of the racing motorcycles by Rins and Mir.

Conclusion

Alex Rins has given his training bike a new look. Blue-silver is history – now black with red elements dominates.
