Go all the way around the lake? Sure, that’s the classic – you can of course do it. But there are also more exciting and varied alternatives.

The tour presented here leads only halfway around the lake, but spectacularly uphill to one of the most beautiful vantage points in the region: the “Terrazza del Brivido”, located about 350 meters above water. After the very fun mountain excursion, it’s back down to the shore and leisurely on to the ferry dock in Maderno, to experience the lake in a completely different way on a boat trip in maritime style on a motorcycle. Touristic very appealing round tour with a sporty touch.

Road book

Start in Limone Sul Garda ➤ on the lakeside road SS45 to about 5 km to the south, after driving through the tunnel onto the SP38 Turn right into the archway towards Tremosine (be careful, you can easily miss the descent!) ➤ Follow Via Benaco to Pieve (switchbacks, tunnel passages – it’s only a little more than 5 km, but this section is the SP38 is one of the most spectacular streets on Lake Garda and has already served as a James Bond backdrop.
