Itinerary – day 1

The starting point is the country inn “Deer in the green” in Mehrstetten.

  1. From there east towards Sondernach. Continue to Hutten, in Talsteusslingen right to Grotzingen. West over the smallest roads to Frankenhofen, Granheim, Mundingen. Here via L 231 detour to Mochental Castle.
  2. Then: Mundingen to Erbstetten. Continue towards Indelhausen. Detour via Hayingen to Zwiefalten (monastery). Return via Gossenzugen (L 245) to the Wimsener Hohle. Later: Hayingen towards Indelhausen. The signs “great Lautertal” consequences.
  3. Via K 6769 along the Lauter to the north. About one kilometer before Gundelfingen, turn left to Derneck Castle. Back on K 6769. In Bichishausen stop on “Boathouse” (Canoe tours). Leave the Lautertal in Hundersingen via the Eglinger Steige to Eglingen and follow the signs to Marbach (state stud). Via the L 249 to Gachingen, Lonsingen. Left before Upfingen, Bleichstetten, Bad Urach (waterfalls).
  4. Leave Bad Urach via the L 211 to Grabenstetten. Shortly on the B 465, after Gutenberg left in the direction of Schopfloch on the L 1212 for an extra lap. Follow this route to Hepsisau. After Hepsisau right on L 1200 and south towards Neidlingen. Before Wiesensteig turn right on K 1430 and drive the round back to Schopfloch. From there briefly on the B 465 – to the L 252 in Donstetten.
  5. From Westerheim south via Feldstetten and Ennabeuren. Behind it on the L 230 to Magolsheim, then towards Bottingen. Before reaching the village, turn left on the small Ziehweg to Mehrstetten.

Itinerary – day 2

Sightseeing tour with many stops. Starting point again “deer”.

  1. Again via Sondernach to Hutten. Here left on Barentalstrabe to Justingen, then on the L 240 to Schelklingen and Blaubeuren (old town, Blautopf, monastery, etc.).
  2. From here via the B 28 to Gerhausen, on the L 241 south towards Ringingen, Pfraunstetten. In Opfingen over the Danube, on the L 259 left to Griesingen, over
    Altbierlingen to Berg (mountain brewery). Behind it on the B 465 over the Danube, left to Dettingen, Rottenacker, Munderkingen. Via L 257 to Untermarchtal (old monastery), then L 231 to Lauterach (Barenhohle).
  3. On the street “At the Hochberg”. Behind Reichenstein on the right: Unterwilzingen, Erbstetten, Granheim. There left to Kochstetten, Indelhausen. Then again along the Lauter. Before Hundersingen turn right into the “Muhlacker”, Before Bremelau left over a pull path back to Mehrstetten.
