Since June 15, 2020 it has been possible to travel in Europe with virtually no barriers. An EU portal shows in which country you still have to expect which conditions.

Actually, the motorcycle travel season would already be in full swing, but only since June 15th has it been possible to go on an international tour more or less again after border controls in the EU were largely eliminated. In parallel to the opening of the border, the European Union and all of its member states are also planning to safely resume travel in Europe. While protecting public health remains a priority, everyone should be able to enjoy their vacations, visit family and friends, and travel for any other purpose.

To make travel planning easier, the EU now has one interactive platform unlocked, which bundles all the information that travelers need to plan their trips and their holidays in Europe safely with consideration for your health. The information is constantly updated and is available in 24 languages.

Users simply have to select the desired destination country and then receive information on freedom of movement there, entry requirements, possible transit, quarantine conditions and medical requirements. Travel by car, bus or motorcycle, train, plane or ship is taken into account. Even non-EU citizens can find a lot of information about valid travel restrictions here.

Conclusion

Re-open EU is a great approach by the EU to show those willing to travel what is already possible and what is not yet. The site is clear and functional. This is also how Europe works.
