Tribute to the master
MV Agusta had already announced that it would concentrate on exclusive small series. Now, as a tribute to company boss Claudio Castiglioni, the MV Agusta F4 Claudio has been presented, of which only 100 copies are to be built.

The MV Agusta F4 Claudio is not really new, but it shows the F4 RC on which it is based, built with great attention to detail and the finest ingredients in a completely new light. Only 100 copies are to be built. Each of them has an exclusive badge with the consecutive serial number on the Gebel bridge.
Fed up with carbon fiber
The 1000 engine of the F4 RC remained untouched except for optimized intake and exhaust ports and lower-friction piston rings, and continues to produce 205 hp in road trim. For the MV Agusta F4 Claudio, however, the series clutch was exchanged for an STM multi-disc oil bath slipping clutch with a Brembo radial pump. Exclusive to the Claudio, there are also pushbuttons on the steering stubs with which the now four driving modes Normal, Sport, Rain and now Custom can be called up. The eight-stage traction control has been retuned, the blipper is standard on board. In addition to the push buttons on the handlebar, there is an AIM screen with data acquisition, integrated GPS and F4 RC-specific software. The screen naturally also presents specially designed graphics.

Even the rims are molded from carbon fiber laminate.
The MV Agusta F4 Claudio is almost wasteful with carbon. All cladding parts and the seat hump are made entirely of carbon fiber laminate in a visible construction, which changes between glossy and matt. The design is also enhanced by a gold trim made of galvanized copper. Carbon fiber is even used in the gear train, which is obtained from the specialist BST.
A SC-Project muffler made of titanium with Claudio laser engraving and two tailpipes is part of the racing kit supplied. Made of titanium, there are also countless screws and bolts on the F4 Claudio. The Italians use CNC-milled aluminum for components such as the fork bridge, the height-adjustable footrests, the rear wheel central nut, the brake and clutch levers, the fittings, the expansion tanks and the tank cap.

The homage to Claudio Castiglioni is visible everywhere.
A dry weight of 183 kilograms should be the reward for the effort and the use of materials, the kit version should even weigh only 175 kilograms.
Further features of the MV Agusta F4 Claudio are a quilted seat cushion with embroidered Claudio lettering and a Cagiva elephant on the tank. A price for the special model was not mentioned. But whoever has to ask about the price does not fit into MV Agusta’s prey scheme anyway.
