There will be a total of three new helmets from Nolan and X-Lite in the coming year. The models Nolan N100-5 Plus, Nolan N87 Plus and X-Lite X-803 RS Ultra Carbon are new.

Nolan N100-5 Plus

The new Nolan N100-5 Plus is the successor to the N100-5 and has been further developed in some areas compared to the previous model. The new Nolan flip-up helmet is available in two shell sizes, a double P / J homologation, which means that the helmet can also be used as a jet helmet, and a new ventilation system. Also included is an ultra-wide visor and a sun visor that can be adjusted in various positions. The inner lining is removable and can therefore be cleaned relatively easily.

The Nolan N100-5 Plus is the latest flip-up helmet in the manufacturer’s portfolio.

With the help of a so-called “Liner Positioning Control System”, the inside of the helmet can be individually adapted to the shape of the head of the wearer. The individualization is done by an adjustment band that is easy to use according to the manufacturer. Nolan opted for the Microlock ratchet system for the closure. The prices for the new Nolan N100-5 Plus start at 439.99 euros. It is available in sizes XXS to XXXL.

Nolan N87 Plus

In MOTORRAD edition 09/2017, the N87 was the test winner prevail against the competition, now with the N87 Plus the further development is coming onto the market. Nolan promises modern Italian design, paired with the best ventilation and a particularly comfortable interior. This includes an inner lining that can be adjusted on the top of the head and a visor mechanism for which a patent has been applied.

Their elliptical opening curve enables the smooth use of larger Pinlock sights. The Nolan N87 Plus is available in sizes XXS to XXXL. Cost: from 279.99 euros.

X-Lite X-803 RS Ultra Carbon

The newest helmet from X-Lite is a further developed variant of the X-803 full-face helmet that has been optimized for the racetrack. RS stands for “Racetrack Setup” and includes, among other things, a tinted visor, a Racetrack Aerodynamic Spoiler, which is intended to reduce air resistance and improve driving stability at high speeds, and a further developed emergency safety system. As with the N100-5 Plus, the interior of the X-Lite X-803 RS Ultra Carbon can be adapted to your own head shape.

The new X-Lite X-803 RS Ultra Carbon was developed primarily for use on the racetrack.

As the product name suggests, the helmet is made of carbon fibers. The double D-ring system is used for the locking system. The new racing helmet from X-Lite is available in sizes XXS to XXL. Buyers have to invest at least 599.99 euros for the new X-Lite X-803 RS Ultra Carbon.
