A mini monkey arrives?

Honda has registered a new patent, which refers to a new and even smaller monkey, i.e. a mini monkey.

2018 celebrated the legendary Honda M.onkey her comeback. The popular Honda could already be seen as a concept bike in previous years. The euphoria among fans at the launch was correspondingly high. A short time later, Honda brought another traditional model to Europe with the Super Cub, which also quickly found its fans.

Information so far in short supply

Apparently the Japanese are having success with the revivals of old models. Now another new model from the aforementioned product line could be added, at least a patent registered at the end of April 2020 indicates a new one "Mini bike" down. According to the patent, Honda could be working on a new and even smaller monkey.

Apart from the patent application, there is still no real information about the Mini-Monkey – it is therefore also unclear which motor could be used. Honda had recently registered numerous patents, for example for a new rear spoiler or a new fork – which of these will actually be implemented is still open.

Conclusion

An even smaller Honda Monkey would have a lot of charm and could be particularly popular with fans of the cult bike. However, it is still completely open whether a mini monkey is actually under development.
