The Petrolettes Event has developed into a cult event among women motorcyclists. In 2019 it will take place in Ferropolis, the “City of Iron”, near Graefenhainichen.

Petrolettes is a motorcycle festival for women only, which took place for the first time in July 2016 in Berlin-Spandau and was immediately a complete success. In 2019 the event will take place from July 26th to 28th in Ferropolis. The “City of Iron” is both a museum and an event location. It is located near Graefenhainichen, east of Dessau, on a peninsula in the former Golpa-Nord opencast mine. The backdrop with the huge excavators from 1959 is an attraction in itself. Together with the program that the Petrolettes creators have put together around the founder Irene Kotnik, the July weekend has the potential to become something very special for the visitors and participants.
The peninsula “Ferropolis” is a museum and event location in one. The site is suitable for up to 25,000 visitors and offers exactly the right backdrop for the Petrolettes event.

Concerts, eighth-mile races, off-road workshops, balance training, lectures, trips, moto yoga – the program on the three days of the Petrolettes event is extremely packed and varied. The complete The program in detail can be found here.
Tickets for the Petrolettes event
The standard ticket costs 85 euros, early bird tickets were available for 75 euros each, the opposite – the lazy bird ticket – costs 125 euros. Motorcycles roll freely on the site, a fee of 25 euros per car is charged, for campers / RV it is 50 euros.
Bucket wheel excavators, bucket chain excavators, crawler pillar swing excavators – definitely make the heart of the machine beat faster here.
accommodation
Camping in your own tent costs 20 euros for two nights, 6 m² tipi tents with single beds for a maximum of four people are available for 260 euros, the container hotel for 340 euros (max 6 people) is already booked out. Accommodation options in the area can of course also be booked.
