Moto Guzzi has to replace the inlet valves on a few V85 TT models. The components do not meet the specifications.

Moto Guzzi has installed inlet valves in a limited number of the V85 TT and V85 TT Travel models that do not meet the manufacturer’s quality specifications. Now these valves are exchanged.

Only a few machines affected

If the faulty inlet valves have already caused damage to the cylinder heads, these will also be replaced. The V85 models are from the current year of construction. In Germany, around 60 to 70 motorcycles with the appropriate valve equipment should already be in the hands of customers. The owners of affected machines were from Moto Guzzi already informed. All vehicles that have not yet been delivered and that are affected by this defect will be converted before delivery.

Conclusion

Incorrectly manufactured intake valves by the supplier are forcing Moto Guzzi to recall some V85 models. The valves are exchanged, the customers are informed.

  1. it sure is one beautiful bike i waited for one but the dealer became a real asshole so i told them see yea ill spend my hard earned money on a BMW 1200 OR 1250 GS shame they could not find this about the valves before send out to the real public so i myself do not trust motoguzzi how long of a wait for this problem to be fixed VALVES BEING REPLACED . I BUY A M.C TO RIDE NOT SIT AND WAIT TO BE REPAIRED …ILL STAY WITH BMW
