Recall MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR
Six motorcycles in Germany
The recall concerns motorcycles from the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR range. In Germany only six are affected, the owners have already been notified.
MV Agusta D.The manufacturer is recalling ragster 800 RRs that were produced between June 26, 2017 and September 25, 2017. On these motorcycles, the spokes on the rear wheel rims can loosen. The reason for this is a production error. “So far, no cases of damage or accidents have been reported,” said MV.
In Germany, six vehicles owned by customers are affected. You have already been informed and the rim will be replaced completely and free of charge on all MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR affected by the recall.

MV Agusta Dragster 800 in the 2018 model year
The MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR shares the water-cooled three-cylinder engine and the electronics package with the Brutale 800 RR. The nominal output of 103.0 kW (140 hp) remains at 13,100 rpm. The maximum torque of 86 Nm is available at 10,100 rpm and is also unchanged. Changes to the gearbox, cylinder heads and clutch should make the Euro 4 dragsters quieter. Modifications to the headlights, taillights and the front fender make for an even more aggressive look.
There have also been changes to the pricing: the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR costs 18,790 euros, the RC version costs 21,890 euros and the limited Dragster LH 44 costs an impressive 24,144 euros. LH 44 stands for Lewis Hamilton with starting number 44, as this model variant was developed in collaboration with him.
