Suzuki SV 650 X becomes a katana

The French conversion specialist S2 Concept from Aubais has developed a conversion kit for the Suzuki SV 650 X that turns the V2 into a katana.

M.ith the new Katana based on the GSX-S 1000, Suzuki played a major role at INTERMOT and brought the legendary Katana design back to the minds of bikers. Katana fans can also find something in France.

Katana look from 700 euros

Rebuilders and accessories supplier S2 Concept has developed a complete kit for the Suzuki SV 650 X that makes the two-cylinder M model look like an original katana. Ok, that was never available with a V-engine, but at least with a displacement of 650 cc. Then, however, not with the distinctive Katana front fairing – that was reserved for the 750 and 1100.

The conversion package includes an instrument and lamp holder, a new headlight and the small half-shell with a windshield in the typical katana style.

The kit is available with a two-tone paint job adapted to the SV 650 X with a red design stripe at a price of 899 euros. If you leave it with a plain paintwork, you can save 100 euros. If you order the fairing unpainted, you even save 200 euros.

The Katana conversion can also be adapted to the normal Suzuki SV 650 from 2016 to 2018. But then new steering stubs also have to be installed.
