With the Exo-R1 Air offers Scorpion a full-face helmet that should stand out especially at high speeds. The helmet shell consists of a mix of fiberglass, Dyneema and aramid. As a result, the new Scorpion Exo-R1 Air should weigh 1,250 grams (size M). The aerodynamic shape on the rear part of the full-face helmet is striking. It is available in three outer shell sizes. Buyers can choose from sizes XS to M, L and XL.

Current MotoGP design

For the 2021 season, Scorpion is expanding its color selection to include the current designs of the helmets by Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo in MotoGP and WSBK Honda rider Álvaro Bautista. Technically, the replicas have not changed compared to the known design of the Exo R1 Air and are also supplied with a dark-tinted visor. The prices for the variation Fabio Monster are currently starting at just under 450 euros, the WSBK design Alvaro II is currently available online for a good 340 euros.

The scope of delivery includes a clear and a heavily tinted Pinlock visor. According to the manufacturer, the helmet should also be suitable for people who wear glasses. Scorpion equips the new Exo-R1 Air with various ventilation options. Scorpion opted for the double-D titanium ring system for the closure. In addition, the car upholstery can be adapted to the shape of the head thanks to a pump system. The inner lining can be removed and is therefore easy to wash. Scorpion offers the Exo R1 Air in seven different design variants. Prices currently start at 270 euros.
