The communication system provider Sena and Interphone have now agreed on a strategic alliance with the aim of providing motorcyclists worldwide with a unified communications network. Therefore, from 2021, interphone devices will also use Sena’s Bluetooth and Mesh 2.0 communication technology. This means that all existing Sena devices are compatible with the new Interphone products.

In early 2021, Interphone will launch the first line of products using Sena’s communications technology. Of the upcoming devices, the UCOM2 and UCOM4 models will be equipped with Bluetooth 5 technology and UCOM16 with Bluetooth 5 and Mesh 2.0 Premium technology. There is no further information on the upcoming interphone models.

Interphone is a subsidiary of the Italian company Cellularline, which operates in the smartphone and tablet accessories sector. Based on many years of experience in the area of smartphone accessories, Cellularline wants to build a complete portfolio of Bluetooth products with the Interphone brand.
