In 2019, the Austrian KTM group took over the majority in the Spanish two-wheeler manufacturer GasGas. At the time, GasGas was part of the Torrot Electric Europe group. Since KTM will also equip the new Spanish subsidiary with the technology from its own group construction kit, the enduro platform developed by the Spaniards themselves is obsolete.

And this is exactly what the two-wheeler manufacturer has now Rieju secured. Rieju has acquired the intellectual and industrial property of the GasGas Enduro motorcycle platform from Torrot. Models based on this are to be manufactured and marketed under the Rieju brand in the future. Various two-stroke models with a displacement of 250 and 300 cm³ were produced on the platform developed by Torrot in 2017.
