In the tire test in MOTORRAD 11/2017 on a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, 6 sport tire pairings were tested, evaluated and compared: Bridgestone S21, Continental Sport Attack 3, Dunlop Sportsmart2 Max, Metzeler Sportec M7 RR, Michelin Power RS and Pirelli Diablo Rosso III.

MOTORRAD tested the sports tires on six in 2017 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R. Initially, the testers drove the fastest route, i.e. motorways, with the motorbikes 1400 km from Stuttgart to Lleida / Spain. There all motorcycles were freshly filled with tires and the sports tires were tested on the Alcarràs racetrack.

Further extensive tests took place on country roads in the Pyrenees. The drivers swap the motorcycles every hour in order to receive meaningful test results over a total of 4000 kilometers. At the end of the tour, the worn tires were again assessed according to country road criteria in order to document the effects of tire wear.
The wet tests took place independently of the tour on the permanently irrigated wet test track of the Bridgestone test site near Rome.
