New colors for 2021

The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Suzuki is sending its 125cc models technically unchanged into the new model year. Only in terms of colors has been improved.

S.uzuki is sending its two 125cc models GSX-R and GSX-S with a total of seven new colors into the 2021 season. Both models will, however, remain equipped with the well-known 125cc DOHC engine, which probably means that they will not be converted to Euro 5. This should herald the last season for the little athletes.

Four versions for the GSX-R 125

For the 2021 model year, Suzuki is offering the GSX-R125 in four color variants. The blue version receives minor updates in the color design, with the fairing keel now painted blue being the most noticeable difference to the 2020 model.

New to the program are a black version with red painted rims and a red-black version. The latter is based on the recently introduced GSX-R 1000 R, which the Yoshimura SERT Motul Team will use in the endurance world championship.

The fourth in the group is available as a limited edition. It comes in the dress of the current Suzuki MotoGP machines from Joan Mir and Alex Rins and, as the little sister of the GSX-R 1000 R Limited Edition, represents the sportiest representative of the quartet.

The three color variants of the GSX-S125, which will be available on the German market for the 2021 season, are based directly on the appearance of the GSX-S750. The small naked bike is available in a sporty blue and black version, an elegant black version and a trendy white and yellow model.

The prices for the 125 models for the 2021 model year start from 4,475 euros for the GSX-R 125. The limited edition costs from 4,572 euros. The naked GSX-S 125 is available from 4,182 euros.

Conclusion

Suzuki remains true to its line and hardly brings anything new to the European market. The 125cc will get new colors for 2021. There is no Euro 5 changeover. This means that these entry-level bikes should also disappear from the range.
