The motorcycle accessory provider SW-Motech extends the guarantee on its products from 1.1. 2020 for a full five years. However, with conditions.

The five-year guarantee is only given to those who purchase their accessories directly SW-Motech buys. Anyone who buys from a authorized dealer has to be satisfied with the statutory warranty of two years plus an additional one-year guarantee. Why the differentiation? At MOTORRAD’s request, SW-Motech explains that new goods are always sold in their own online shop, but that goods can be in stores for up to two years before they go over the counter.
The guarantee of up to five years applies to all purchases from January 1, 2020 and can only be claimed for normal types of use and in the event of material or manufacturing defects. This concerns, for example, loosened seams, torn handles or broken weld seams. It applies to sales in Germany, Austria, France and Spain. The complete guarantee conditions are shown on the SW-Motech website.
