New functions, new look, new body and Euro 5 – the Sym Maxsym 400 is celebrating its comeback and is rolling into the 2021 model year with a completely new look.

The Sym Maxsym 400 is more angular, modern and sporty for its comeback in model year 2021. The redesigned headlights and taillights shine with LED technology, the trim parts are angular and no longer as large as the predecessor and therefore appear less bulky. The seat including the support on the driver’s back has been redesigned, the end pot is shorter but wider, and the folding rear-view mirrors are more angular. But that’s just the beginning.

Sym Maxsym 400 with 3.5 l / 100 km

The new Sym Maxsym 400 rolls out with a better suspension system. The rear suspension springs can be adjusted to the rider’s needs with the right tools. The 400 Sym is also said to be more manoeuvrable than its predecessor and consume 32 percent less fuel at 3.5 liters per 100 kilometers.

Keyless, traction control, automatic hazard lights

It now also rolls up with a keyless system, which means that the ignition key no longer needs to be turned in an ignition lock, it is enough to have the remote control key in your pocket. The button for the parking brake does not have to be looked for either – it is activated as soon as the side stand is folded out. And in the event of emergency braking, the hazard warning lights switch on automatically – provided the Sym Maxsym 400 was previously moved at over 70 km / h. And those who like to be on the move quickly in any weather will appreciate that the new Sym Maxsym 400 is equipped with traction control.

The Sym Maxsym 400 takes care of Euro 5 in model year 2021 with a modified air intake system that is supposed to improve performance at low speeds. In addition, Sym advertises the new Maxsym 400 with the “triangular short tube design”, which “the shortest and lightest among its competitors” should be.

Illuminated helmet compartment + glove compartment

The bench can be opened more than 45 degrees, so that easy access to the large compartment under the seat is possible. A full-face helmet and a jet helmet fit in here without any problems. The new Sym also offers a glove compartment with a USB charging socket. The windshield can be adjusted without tools and the driver can also adjust the levers to his needs.

The Sym Maxsym 400 will go on sale in March 2021 and will cost 7,499 euros. The colors available are gray, brown and blue.
