Country road / motorway: (new: 132 points, 2nd place; after 4000 km: 128 points, 1st place) In the last tire tests, the Z8 Interact shone with its balance. Only the specification M / M (driven in the 2014 tire test on a light Honda CB 1000 R) was not really convincing. On the heavy FJR the Metzeler in the M / O version (one more carcass ply at the back) and turns the previous year’s result upside down. With its convincing feedback, neutral handiness and impressive steering precision, the Z8 is a lot of fun when driving on country roads. And this for a long time. After 4000 kilometers, the Metzeler Roadtec Z8 Interact can even move up one place.

Wet test: (87 points, 2nd place) A broad border area helps to be able to control the Metzeler Roadtec Z8 Interact well in wet conditions. In addition, the Interact scores with plenty of grip – both when accelerating and braking.

Wear and tear: (85 points, 1st place) Unbelievable, but the superb results on dry and wet roads are not on the profile! Little and even abrasion.

Conclusion: The Metzeler mix makes it possible. Top performance on the country road, plus great driving characteristics in the rain, crowned by the lowest wear in the test. This is what winners look like.
