New generation of the carbon helmet

Touratech is bringing the multifunctional carbon helmet to the market in the second generation, further developed. The Touratech Aventuro Carbon2 Plus is also available in three new designs.

The chin section has been completely redesigned and the forehead ventilation is also new. This should not only ensure better ventilation, but also simplify operation with gloves. The removable shield has also been modified for better air flow and can now be adjusted.

Wider chinstrap, better ventilation

Also loud Touratech Improved: the visor fastener, the visor ventilation, the chin windshield and its attachment as well as a thicker chin strap for the double D fastener for more stability. The carbon helmet is certified according to ECE 22.05 and DOT.

The interior of the Touratech Aventuro Carbon2 Plus should be sweat-resistant and completely washable. The helmet is equipped with a Pinlock visor so that the visor does not fog up despite concentration sweat and breath. The visor can of course also be completely removed, so that enduro glasses fit on the nose in the wide cutout. With a visor and without a shield, the Aventuro Carbon2 looks like an ordinary full-face helmet.

Converted in 2 minutes without tools

Depending on the size, the carbon helmet weighs from 1,280 grams (XS – S; +/- 50 g) around 1,330 grams for M – L (+/- 50 g) and 1,380 grams for XL – XXXL (+/- 50 g) G). Integrated are the glasses strap guide and an intercom preparation, a camera holder on the top of the head and a holder on the side as well as accessory holders, for example for Quickstrap glasses straps.

Converting the Aventuro Carbon2 from an off-road to a full-face helmet – or vice versa – can be done without tools and, according to Touratech, within 2 minutes. Special side covers on the visor ensure minimal noise pollution, for example in full-face helmet mode without a shield.

Now with 3 shell sizes

One of the biggest changes compared to the previous model is the third shell size, which Touratech now allows to offer the Aventuro Carbon2 Plus in XXXL. The small helmet shell is shared by sizes XS and S, the middle helmet shell is reserved for M and L and the largest is now for XL to 3XL.

The Touratech Aventuro Carbon2 Plus is available in all black, blue-red-white and black-yellow. It costs 549 euros.

Conclusion

Still light, now also in XXXL and optimized in many areas, the second generation of the Touratech Aventuro Carbon2 Plus is coming onto the market. For everyone who wants to switch flexibly between enduro and full-face helmets.
