With the City Limit, Bogotto has a classic short boot for motorcyclists on offer. MOTORRAD tried the city limit.

Anyone looking for a new short boot is always spoiled for choice. The Bogotto shoe expands the wide range with another, simple and inexpensive model. Can he also convince in the practical test?

Light and comfortable

What is noticeable when you get on for the first time (as with many boots of this type): the extremely long shoelaces, which can be found under the Velcro flap, but have to be fumbled into there first. When getting out, the shoe has to be laced wide to free the foot. We really liked the low weight and the comfortable fit. The boot does not cut anywhere and is as comfortable when walking as a certified motorcycle shoe with plastic ankle protection can be at best. The shaft is cut rather narrow at the calf, whereas it offers a little too much air at the heel. All in all, however, Bogotto delivers a solid shoe that scores with a good price-performance ratio.

MOTORCYCLE check

MOTORRAD awards 3 out of 5 stars.

  • positive: Comfortable, light and inexpensive
  • negative: narrow shaft, long laces

The Bogotto City Limit is available in sizes from 36 to 48. The price is 99.90 euros.
